Margarita Sikorskaia was born in St.Petersburg, Russia in 1968. She studied at the Department of Arts and Graphics of St.Petersburg Hertzen Pedagogical University. In 1990 Margarita moved to the United States, where she worked as a fine artist. During this period she has produced a number of exhibits from New Orleans to Sun Valley. In 2000 she was selected to participate in the 'Minnesota Biennial: 2D 2000' juried show at Minnesota Museum of American Art. Currently she lives and paints in Minneapolis.
