CLIFTON WEBB
Artist Clifton Webb is a New Orleans based artist, with decades of local and national recognition. Using a “visual alphabet” developed over the course of his career, Webb creates works imbued with reverence and dignity. Though the symbols he has developed may not be immediately familiar, they are unmistakably noble—and that is the intent. Webb is a co-founder of the New Orleans Contemporary Art Center, and his work is included in the permanent collection of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
